NOVUS VS MERCEDES AMG ONE
Location: Dettelbach, Germany
Featured Cars: Mercedes AMG One
The Ultimate Test 0-50KM/H
The Mercedes-AMG ONE is one of the few cars that successfully brought Formula 1 technology to the road. Developed under the leadership of former AMG CEO Philipp Schiemer, it combines a race-derived hybrid powertrain with four-wheel drive and 1,063 horsepower. Yet maximum speed was never the priority. While capable of 354 km/h, the real objective was to create the fastest possible car on a racetrack. The result was a Nürburgring Nordschleife record of 6:29, proving that the AMG ONE is far more than just another hypercar.
As the automotive world moves toward electrification, the challenge is no longer simply building faster machines. According to Schiemer, the future will belong to vehicles that create new stories and new emotions. Performance remains important, but innovation and individuality are becoming just as valuable.
That future was represented by the Novus One, a futuristic light bike developed by a German startup. Combining elements of an e-bike, motorcycle, and scooter, it was designed entirely from scratch rather than adapted from an existing concept. Weighing just 115 kilograms and producing 400 Nm of torque, it delivers astonishing performance in a compact package.
Placed next to the AMG ONE, the Novus One demonstrated that innovation comes in many forms. Despite their differences, both share the same goal: pushing the limits of what modern engineering can achieve.
